Eligibility Checker Terms

These Eligibility Checker Terms (the “Checker Terms”) govern access to and use of the Hecto Predictions eligibility checker, including its landing page, authentication screens, wallet connection flow, eligibility review and result pages (collectively, the “Checker”). The Checker is operated by Hecto Finance Limited, a British Virgin Islands company (“Hecto,” “we,” “us” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Checker, you agree to these Checker Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Checker. These Checker Terms apply only to the Checker. Any other Hecto website, application, token, game, market or product is governed by its own applicable terms.

The Checker verifies an existing Hecto account and applies a versioned access policy to two account-linked signals: qualifying HECTO holdings and historical Hecto Score. It then presents an eligibility score, the applicable threshold, source evidence and an access decision.

The Checker is informational and administrative. It does not execute trades, transfer or lock tokens, request token approvals, hold assets, provide a wallet, open a Predictions position, or itself provide access to the Hecto Predictions product.

You must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into these Checker Terms and use the Checker only where lawful. You must not use the Checker if you are subject to applicable sanctions, acting for a sanctioned person, or located in a jurisdiction where access would cause you or Hecto to violate applicable law.

A Checker decision is not identity verification, KYC, accreditation, suitability review, sanctions clearance or regulatory approval. Further checks and product-specific restrictions may apply before any Hecto product becomes available.

You may access the Checker with the email and password associated with your existing Hecto account or, where supported, by proving control of the primary Canton wallet linked to that account. You must provide accurate information and use only an account and wallet you are authorized to control.

You are responsible for keeping passwords, email accounts, wallet sessions, devices and private keys secure. Hecto will never ask you to enter a wallet seed phrase or private key into the Checker. A wallet signature requested by the Checker is an authentication proof and is not intended to authorize an asset transfer.

Eligibility is determined by the policy version shown with the result. Hecto may change the score conversion, factor caps, threshold, evidence requirements or availability of the Checker at any time. A previous decision does not guarantee the same result later.

An “eligible” result is not a contractual entitlement, allocation, reservation, offer, recommendation or guarantee of access. Hecto may require additional review or deny, limit, delay or withdraw product access where permitted by law. An “ineligible” result does not determine ownership rights in HECTO and does not require you to acquire, transfer or retain any token.

The Checker may read account records, linked wallet identifiers, committed Canton ledger balances and historical Hecto Score records from Hecto and third-party systems. Multiple wallets linked to the same verified account may be evaluated together where the Checker expressly indicates this.

Evidence can be delayed, unavailable, incomplete or associated with an incorrect or outdated account link. You must review the identity, wallet reference, timestamps, holdings and Hecto Score displayed with your result. Do not rely on a result that does not correspond to the account you intended to check.

Supanova or Loop may be used to locate and evaluate an existing Hecto record, but Hecto Predictions requires a supported Lattice or Walley wallet. If offered, the replacement-wallet invite and account-linking flow is an administrative handoff only.

You remain responsible for verifying the receiving wallet and for any later transfer of HECTO. The Checker does not initiate, reverse or guarantee that transfer. Recheck the replacement wallet after Hecto confirms that the account history has been linked.

You must not misuse the Checker, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, automate abusive requests, bypass technical restrictions, interfere with service integrity, introduce malicious code, extract protected source data, probe another member’s eligibility, or use the Checker in violation of law or another person’s rights.

We may suspend or block access, preserve evidence and cooperate with lawful requests where we reasonably believe misuse, fraud, security risk or legal non-compliance has occurred.

The Checker may depend on Hecto account services, Canton infrastructure, wallet providers, wallet software development kits, authentication providers, email delivery and hosting providers. Those services are outside Hecto’s complete control and may have separate terms and privacy practices.

Compatibility with a wallet or service is not an endorsement or warranty. Hecto is not responsible for a third party’s independent acts, omissions, security, availability or processing.

The Checker, its score, threshold, recovery guidance and result are not financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice. They are not an offer to sell, a solicitation to buy, or a recommendation concerning HECTO or any other asset.

Do not acquire, hold or transfer HECTO solely to obtain a Checker score. Obtain independent professional advice and conduct your own assessment before making any financial, legal or technical decision.

The Checker is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hecto disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Hecto may modify, pause or discontinue the Checker or any access policy without notice. Nothing in these Checker Terms excludes a warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hecto and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, opportunity, access or digital assets; or losses arising from an incorrect decision, unavailable evidence, compromised credentials, third-party service or wallet error.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hecto’s aggregate liability arising from the Checker or these Checker Terms will not exceed US$100. You will indemnify Hecto against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Checker, breach of these Checker Terms or infringement of another person’s rights.

We may update these Checker Terms by publishing a revised version and changing the effective date. Continued use after the revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

These Checker Terms are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Before commencing a formal claim, you must send a written notice to legal@hecto.inc and allow 60 days for good-faith resolution. To the extent permitted by law, unresolved disputes will be resolved by confidential, binding arbitration seated in the British Virgin Islands, in English, before one arbitrator and on an individual—not class or representative—basis.
